Our Holiday Home in Tuscany
Casina di Rosa is a holiday home in Tuscany which dates back to the end of the 19th century when it was built just outside the village walls, by the noble buildings of the Ardengheschi family.
The vacation house is completely independent and has been recently renovated. It consists of one double bedroom with lounge area with guidebooks and informative material on the area, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with shower cabinet. The house can comfortably accommodate 2 guests, but the double bedroom can be arranged as a triple room. The house is perfect for a couple.
We have electric heating and a romantic open fireplace for the winter and air-conditioning for the summer months.
The bedroom
The cosy double bedroom is furnished with an Italian style king-size bed, a large wardrobe and a chest of drawers for use by our guests. Linens are provided and changed once a week.
From the bedroom windows, guests can enjoy beautiful views over the Tuscan countryside.
The bedroom has a lounge area furnished in a rustic style. It has two sofas, one of which is a sofabed, a coffee table, and a bookshelf with a collection of guidebooks, maps and brochures that our guests can borrow. We also participate in a book crossing program, so the guests will also find novels and other books left behind by other travellers which they can swap with their own.
In the bedroom, guests will also find a Sat TV with DVD player and an I-Pod/Mp3 dock station with radio.
The well-equipped kitchen
The warm kitchen is fully equipped to allow our guests to be self-sufficient. It contains a gas stove, electric oven, refrigerator with freezer, toaster and electric kettle. The kitchen has a washing machine.
There is a stone fireplace which makes Casina di Rosa the perfect choice for a romantic holiday. Nothing is better than a quiet dinner sitting in front of the fireplace in your home away from home.
The bathroom
The bathroom is outfitted with fixtures from Ideal Standard: WC, sink, bidet and shower cabinet. In winter the bathroom is heated by an electric space heater. A hair dryer and towels are provided.
The Loggia
The house is in the heart of a medieval hilltop village. It has a nice space just outside the main entrance where our guests can sit under the Tuscan sun and enjoy the sight of everyday village life. The loggia at the entrance to the house is ideal for sitting outside. It is furnished with garden chairs.

A selection of guidebooks and maps are at our guests’ disposal. You can borrow ours or you can buy a guidebook online before leaving. We have selected the best guidebooks of Tuscany for our guests.
Participate in bookcrossing! Feel free to take the books that you find in our library (only fiction, not the guidebooks)! You can keep the novels that you find there, but you have to leave an equal number or novels in their place. The books that you leave must be in the same language.
