The highlights of our trip!

We loved our one week stay at the Casina Di Rosa in Civitella. We spent a month in Italy touring the country and our time at this villa was one of the highlights of the trip. The villa is centrally located and it is possible to travel very easily to Siena (35 km), Grosseto (35 km), Pisa and Florence (70 km). It is also convenient to take trips to Montepulciano, Monterregioni and the Chianti region as well as other Tuscan towns and villages.

The house is very quaint and is well furnished. The kitchen houses a fireplace and we sat by the fire every night enjoying some local wine. It was great to be able to cook for ourselves and the kichen was well-equipped and clean. The house is situated in a lovely Medieval village and the locals are very pleasant and welcoming. The owner is very nice and is eager to help with advice and recommendations. When we arrived we were met with a complimentary bottle of wine, fresh flowers and chocolate.

We would highly recommend this villa to anyone travelling through Tuscany. The house is really lovely and it is quite affordable.
