Perfect place for two in the heart of Tuscany

I would highly recommend Casina di Rosa to any couple wishing to explore central/southern Tuscany and experience life in a tiny Tuscan village. Gloria and Marcel are gracious and welcoming hosts and their rental home is very well equipped and maintained. This place is perfect for any couple (or couple w/ young child) that does not need a sprawling villa with a veranda and swimming pool but simply wants a cozy place to call their own in a quiet Medieval village.

The village of Civitella Marittima is charming and well located for all sorts of forays into the Tuscan countryside. It is also close to many famous (and not-so-famous but still fascinating) hill towns, and even to the beaches and coastal towns of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Plus, the village itself is fun to explore: be sure to visit the two friendly bakeries as well as the wonderful local restaurant, Locanda nel Cassero.

Tip: Bring a laptop if you don’t have a smartphone and need Internet access — the connection is currently made via a USB drive that is not compatible with iPads.
