###Location

Casina Di Rosa is in the Maremma region of Tuscany. It is an absolutely beautiful location. It is located in an area that is very picturesque. The house itself is very private, although as in all Italian villages, the neighbours are very close. It is possible to hear most of what goes on in town at night with the windows open, but that was part of the charm. The noise was never a disturbance.

###Nearby Amenities

The town is well equipped. There is a little coffee bar at the corner of the street for cappuccino during the afternoon siesta time. There is a lovely restaurant as well as a very small grocery store for essentials only. There is also a little florist and gift shop. All of these are within walking distance. A ten minute drive away is the town of Paganico which is equipped with two large grocery store/supermarkets, a shopping mall and many other small shops and restaurants.

###The House/Apartment

Casina Di Rosa was built by the current owner’s great grandfather. It was extremely well maintained and had had extensive improvements and renovations done during the last year. The kitchen and bath are completely modern and new. As well it was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The kitchen in particular had everything that one could need. I enjoyed cooking there.

###Garden

There is a tiny outddor sitting area which is basically the front step. It is not shared but it is also not private as it is right on the street. However, there is so much to see and do in the area that we really weren’t inclined to sit out.

###Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The house was in very good shape adn extremely comfortable. There is seating for four in the kitchen and in the living room. The bedroom sleeps two. The furniture is a combination of new and antique with the new being the seating and sleeping areas. The house was very clean and well taken care of.

###Bedrooms/Bathrooms

As mentined before the bathroom and bedroom were very modern, very comfortable and very clean.

###Kitchen

As mentioned before, the kitchen was roomy, clean and very well equipped. I enjoyed cooking there and cooked relatively elaborate meals.

###Problems or Bonuses

We were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The house was lovely and the owners were charming and very helpful and welcoming.

###Agency and Representatives (and price)

The home has been owned by one family for generations. The current representative of the family speaks English extremely well (as well as Italain of course). She is a very well educated university researcher and could not have been more helpful or hospitable.

###Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I highly recommend this rental home. I have already recommend it to a number of people and would not hesitate to do so again. I would love to go back another time during a different season.

###Things to do in this area

There is so much to do in the area that it just depend on your taste. We preferred the little out of the way places and thouroughly enjoyed our time there. The owner’s website has a more detailed description of some of the activities and locations complete with photographs.
