Our vacation rental reviews
Excellent accommodation in the Tuscan countryside

I don’t often fill out reviews on the internet but feel compelled to do so for the excellent hospitality we received when staying at Casina di Rosa.
The owners were ever so accommodating, meeting us and helping our arrival, providing food for when we arrived as well as odd bits for cooking with, and the house was full of books and leaflets of things to do. Towels were provided, there is a washing machine and the kitchen is well equipped enabling you to cook a decent meal; there was so much there which allowed us to settle in right away.
The house has two main rooms, a kitchen/dining room and a lounge/bedroom as well as a bathroom, which was plenty big enough for the two of us staying there as most days were spent out exploring.
The house is situated in the centre of a village which has a few shops and is 15 minutes away from a town which has a couple of supermarkets. The village is a little way off the road that runs between Siena and Grosseto, much of which is dual carriageway, allowing easy access around the area. I would recommend a car to explore the area though we took the bus to visit Siena, which is about 40 minutes away.
I would fully recommend this accomodation, it is clean, well thought-out and provides a great base for exploring the region of Tuscany south of Siena. I would recommend visiting Siena and climbing the tower, visiting the nearby thermal springs such as Saturnia or Petriolo, and strolling around and enjoying lunch in the beautiful hilltop villages nearby.
