The Highlight of Our Italy Trip

My husband and I spent 6 wonderful days in Casina di Rosa. Tucked in the small village (of ard 300 residents) of Civitella Marittima, this home is not only cosy, it is fully equipped. We had things from the basic tea and coffee to herbs and olive oil! Just buy your own fresh food and you’re ready to go. There’s a washing machine, clothes line, pegs, and etc, everything you need to do your laundry. The villagers are friendly and did I mention the local restaurant serve fantastic food at very reasonable prices? The location is good for anyone that doesn’t wish to stay in the tourist regions. Abt 90 mins to Florence and 60 mins to Siena. The only downside is you have to get used to the Italian-style driving. By the way, if you dun want to handle the traffic, do check out more abt the buses that goes to Siena or Florence. We spent over 2 weeks in Italy and being in Civitella was definitely the highlight.
