Our vacation rental reviews
It exceeded our expectations

Location
The villa is located in a small village and it was awesome to be able to live amongst the community. The location is close to other buildings but yet is very private and we enjoyed it immensely. I was able to practice my basic knowledge of the Italian language with the locals.
Nearby Amenities
We bought groceries in the village as well as fresh bread every morning.
The House/Apartment
The house is at the heart of a medieval hilltop village and it exceeded our expectations. It was wonderful to finally be standing in the house we had seen pictures of (it was quite overwhelming). The house has so much charm and is absolutely spotless!
Garden
There are chairs you may use in a private area outside the house. There is no pool and I certainly did not miss it. It was a lot nicer to go for a walk in the old village and be transported in time!
Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas
There is a fully equipped kitchen with a stone fireplace and a washing machine. The bed is huge and comfortable with beautiful linen. In the evening we were able to relax while enjoying the wonderful Tuscan wines. Did I say how clean the house was. It was truly a home away from home.
Bedrooms/Bathrooms
I appreciated the fact that there was a large “armoire” opposite the bathroom as it made it a lot easier to get ready for out outings!
Kitchen
The kitchen had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the espresso coffee machine. Everything we needed to prepare full meals was at our disposal.
Problems or Bonuses
The owners even provided a “welcome basket” which was really appreciated as we did not have time to buy groceries before the stores closed.
Agency and Representatives (and price)
We were met at a nearby gas station by the owner who speaks fluent English.
Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?
When we return to Italy we will definitely stay at Casina di Rosa again and spend more then one week as there is so much to see in Tuscany. It’s the most beautiful place on earth.
Things to do in this area
I celebrated by birthday at a wonderful restaurant in the village called “La Locanda nel Cassero” where we enjoyed a wonderful meal and excellent service.
